Professional Background

  • B.A. in Religious Literature, Northeastern College, Essex Fells, New Jersey

I have been working as a therapist since 1986. Along with maintaining a private practice, I have worked in settings that have specialized in chronic pain, vocational assessment, mental health, community health, seniors’ wellness, and physical and developmental disabilities.

I have taught workshops for various corporations and organizations on stress management, preparing for retirement, and managing change. These organizations have included the RCMP, Van City, the Red Cross, and legal and engineering firms. I have also taught for the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University and the National Institute of Disability and Research.

In My Spare Time

I enjoy camping in this beautiful province of ours, gardening, reading, and walking my dogs in North Vancouver’s parks and beaches. I also paint watercolors. The pictures on this website show some of my work.
